about

From the original notes dated Jan-7-1998 (likely written in an inebriated stupor, 1/1/98):

HowieWowie was borne from weeks of nothing achieving. Frustration'd set in with the blandblankness of the suffocating cold, and a need to do something new was itching. Hoist had been developing some interestingly interesting ideas and implemented a few over several live intermissions performed during a blasphemously successful 1998 New Year's Eve party. Along with the bongos that Santa'd left under the tree of '97, many new tangents sprang (sprung?) to life that (this?) drunken , and catalyzed this wowser.
