With all of the darkness and despair cascading across these pandemic days, any bit of levity is sorely needed. After writing a track that is indeed a bit of a departure from my usual style, I got the idea to ask my friends around the world to send me a short video simply waving hello. My idea was to compile a video that could bring us all together, to take a few minutes just to wave howdy.

Boy oh boy, did this crowd come through -- over 50 people representing most of the habitable timezones not only responded, but did so with panache, flair, and precisely the kind of humor so desperately needed these days.

I am humbled by the unity and warmth brought about by this endeavor.
